As a Realtor having a "go to" person for accurate and fast lending information is imperative and I've found that person in Sharon Gerber. She's always been helpful and what I really appreciate is the clients that I refer to her come back to me saying how they liked her helpful, accurate and no pressure approach.
Recently when buying a home of our own my husband and I choose Sharon Gerber as our loan broker. I got to experience first hand the same emotional roller coaster of getting a loan that my clients go through! During the loan process a situation came up which required someone with tax experience and Sharon was able to guide both us and our tax preparer to get the proper papers together so we could get the loan through. There was only a tiny window of opportunity for the best mortgage rate of the year; Sharon Gerber anticipated it, waited for it, and jumped right on it for us the minute is was available. We have bought and sold dozens of properties in our lives, here on Kauai and on the mainland, and have never worked with a mortgage broker as knowledgeable, attentive, and pleaseant as Sharon. Well, at least she's pleasant to her clients ... when she's hammering a lender to beat a rate, fix an underwriting issue, or meet a deadline, she doesn't worry if the lender thinks she's pleasant - she only worries about what her client's need. We're customers for life.

I bought a house on Kauai and used Sharon as the mortgage agent. What might have been a complicated transaction instead happened quite smoothly thanks to Sharon. So when I bought a house on the Big Island, I used Sharon again. As expected, she made it a very easy process. Loan rates had dropped so it was time for re-fi on both homes. Again, I used Sharon and she made it easy (and put me into a loan that has lower rates than anyone I know). All these transactions were completed while I was on the mainland.
Sharon is very knowledgeable and understands the process. She worked to get the best deal for me (I shopped a couple of banks but Sharon did better on rates/costs), and provided help and advice on the paperwork whenever asked. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again. I wish she did mainland loans too. Recommended!
